Tibia Weapon Proficiency: perks, levels and catalysts for every weapon
Weapon Proficiency came to Tibia with the Summer Update 2025. Almost every weapon has its own tree, with up to 7 perk levels plus 2 mastery levels that only give a title. At each level you pick one perk from the weapon's options, and only one is active.
The calculator above has every weapon's tree, taken from TibiaWiki, with filters by vocation and category. Pick the perk for each level, see how many points are left to the next one and compare with the builds the community has published. You can plan without an account. With a free account, the tree is saved to your character.

Frequently asked questions
- How many levels does Weapon Proficiency have?
- Up to 9. On a full tree, the first 7 levels give a perk and the last 2 are mastery levels, title only. Mastery comes right after the weapon's last perk, so a weapon with fewer perk levels reaches mastery sooner.
- How many perks can you activate per proficiency level?
- One. Each level has its own perk options and only one is active. In the calculator you pick the perk for each level and see a summary of the build before you do it in game.
- What is a Proficiency Catalyst?
- It is the item that adds progress straight to a weapon's proficiency. It comes in three sizes, the Lesser Proficiency Catalyst, the Proficiency Catalyst and the Greater Proficiency Catalyst, from the one that adds the least to the one that adds the most. The calculator shows how many points are left to the next level.
- Does every weapon level up its proficiency at the same pace?
- No. The game has three point ladders. Crossbows level fastest, knight-only melee weapons come next, and everything else uses the standard ladder. The calculator counts points on the ladder of the weapon you pick.
- How does Perk Shaping work?
- Perk Shaping, from the Summer Update 2026, swaps a level's perk for another option, paid in dust. A weapon can have at most 2 modified perks, and the second one only opens once the weapon is mastered. Each modified perk goes up through refining to rank 10. The options are one list shared by every vocation plus the ones for your vocation, and the calculator shows the ones for the weapon's vocation.
