Tibia Forge calculator: Fusion, Transfer and the cost of every tier

The Exaltation Forge raises an item's tier. Each tier raises the chance of the slot's bonus, and the table below shows by how much. You get there by Fusion, merging two copies of the item, by Transfer, moving the tier over from another item, or by the Convergence versions, which never fail.

The fee is not the whole bill. Every Fusion attempt burns a second item of the same tier, and that item had to be forged too. That is why, without exalted cores, taking a class 4 item to T4 eats 209 T0 items on average, and 56 with both cores on every attempt. The calculator above compares every route at your world's market prices and shows the cheapest.

Chance of each bonus per tier. Amplification does not trigger on its own, it multiplies the chance of the other four.

Gold fee of each operation on a class 4 item, by the tier the item ends at. Fusion charges per attempt. Transfer starts from an item one tier higher, because it loses a tier on the way. Values from TibiaWiki.

Every operation also costs dust. It is 100 for Fusion, 100 for Transfer, 130 for Convergence Fusion and 160 for Convergence Transfer. Both Convergence operations exist only for class 4 items.

Frequently asked questions

How does Fusion work in the Exaltation Forge?
You merge two copies of the same item at the same tier, with a 50% chance of success. If it fails, one copy is lost and the other drops a tier, or is destroyed if it was at T0. Each attempt costs 100 dust plus the tier's gold fee.
Are exalted cores worth it in Fusion?
It depends on the core price on your world. The success core raises the chance from 50% to 65%, and the protection core lowers the chance of losing the tier on a failure to 50%. Each one costs one exalted core per attempt. Since every failure burns an item and another fee, the calculator runs the numbers with and without cores and shows whether they lower or raise the total.
How does Transfer work in the Forge?
Transfer moves an item's tier to another item of the same class, which has to be at T0. The receiving item ends one tier lower and the source item is destroyed. It never fails and costs 100 dust, gold and exalted cores. Class 4 items also have Convergence Transfer, which moves the whole tier, even to another slot, for 160 dust, gold and exalted cores.
How high can an item's tier go in the Forge?
It depends on the class. Class 1 goes up to T1, class 2 to T2, class 3 to T3 and class 4 to T10. Each tier raises the chance of the slot's bonus. That is Onslaught on the weapon, Ruse on the armor, Momentum on the helmet, Transcendence on the legs and Amplification on the boots.
How much does it cost to upgrade an item in the Forge?
It depends on the world. The gold fee is fixed per tier. On a class 4 item, each Fusion attempt from T3 to T4 costs 65kk. The dust, the exalted cores and the items Fusion burns go at market prices. Dust is priced through slivers (20 dust per sliver), and 50 slivers make one exalted core. The calculator uses the prices of the world you pick, and any price you type replaces the market one.
