What changed

If you have Tibia Watch Plus and stream on Twitch, your main character's deaths and level ups now become Twitch clips on their own. No command, no button, no alt-tab in the middle of a fight.

The watch already followed your character to send the death and level alerts. What is new is that, the moment it detects the event, we also ask Twitch for a clip. By the time you end the stream, the clip is already saved on your channel.

How to turn it on (spoiler: there is no switch)

Three conditions, and none of them is a bot setting:

  1. Active Watch Plus on your Tibia Watch account.
  2. Twitch account linked to Tibia Watch.
  3. A character marked as main on your watch.

That is all. There is no toggle for this on the Twitch bot page, because it does not depend on the bot: it starts from your watch slot and your Twitch account. Streamers who never configured the bot get the clips too.

If you already have all three, do nothing — your main's next event is already clipped.

The honest caveat: level up is global Tibia only

Worth explaining, because the limit is not laziness on our side.

Twitch clips take no duration. The API always returns a fixed window of roughly 30 seconds ending at the instant we ask. There is no way to say "one minute starting at the death" — that simply does not exist on Twitch's side. So the only thing that matters is: how much time passed between the event happening and us noticing?

  • Death carries the real in-game timestamp. We can measure the delay and drop what arrived too late — and that is exactly what we do: a stale death produces no clip. Works on global Tibia and on Rubinot.
  • Level up carries no timestamp at all. The game never publishes when a level was gained, so the only instant we know is our own scan. On global Tibia that scan runs every 15 seconds and the clip still contains the moment. On Rubinot it runs every 3 minutes — the clip would capture a stretch of stream with no relation to the level.

We would rather not clip than hand you the wrong clip. A clip of the wrong moment is worse than none, because it looks like it worked.

What was already there and stays

The automatic death and level-up clip joins what the clip suite already did, all inside Watch Plus:

  • !clip in chat — you or your mods ask for the clip on the spot.
  • Automatic clip on enemy kill — the toggle lives on the bot page, under Clips.
  • Automatic publishing of clips to Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, with the connected accounts.

Where to check

Open the Tibia Watch panel → My Twitch Bot. The Clips section shows the main-character auto-clip note and the publishing toggles; the Plus on your Twitch Bot card tells you whether your Plus is recognised — if it reads locked, that is where the upgrade lives.
